As well as our own cider, cordials and fruit and veg, we keep a stock of interesting and useful goods in our little shop on the North York Moors, including a few things you just won’t find anywhere else.

These include a wide range of organic storecupboard necessities and treats from co-operative Suma, from basic oats to luxury chocolate – and if you can’t find what you want, you can always browse the Suma catalogue and we’ll add it to our next order for you. We also stock free range local meat from Anna’s Happy Trotters and Herb Fed Poultry and delicious Yorkshire honey from Marcus Cordingley in nearby Scampston.

Our refill service is popular and includes Ecover and Bio-D washing-up liquid, laundry liquid etc – just bring your old bottle along and keep reusing it for as long as it lasts!

Ruby is a keen baker – we’ve just invested in a Rofco bread oven – and there’s freshly baked bread (while it lasts), all handmade with organic stoneground flours and seeds. Saturday is sausage roll and sourdough day!

We also always have at least two delicious homemade cakes on the counter and if you’re lucky our super-fresh pastured eggs are available too.

And we stock a small range of covetable and carefully crafted gifts and locally illustrated cards, including skincare, Moorlands Candles nd luxurious French soaps that you won’t find anywhere else in the UK.
